Shows 2001-2002

We began the 2001-2002 show season in our home town of Den Helder.  Our only entry was our own Naru Star Ruby of Siam (June).  During the year, we had many successes. Dollar earns the title of European Champion and a Best in Show. May, daughter of Dollar and DeLook, also earned a Best in Show.

June watching the judge write As the only Himmie in the show, June had a big responsibility.  And she did rise to the challenge earning Best Colorpoint Persian, Best Longhair Kitten and Best Longhair in Show.

June was then in competition for Best of the Best, where she finished 2nd behind a Birman.  The judge wrote that June was a "super cat" and she received "Excellent" in all qualities, quite an accomplishment for a four-month-old kitten.  Graham proudly accepts June's awards.

The "Fab 3" competed in a huge show with 428 cats entered.  There were 31 Persian/Exotics and 14 colourpoints for a total of 45.

The judge wrote that all three were excellent in all areas and Dollar and DeLook received their appropriate certificates.

June beat her parents as Best Seal Point, beat other Himmies and lost to a gorgeous white Persian.

Twenty-nine Himmie kittens were entered in the show and June did very well.  She finished 2nd Best female seal point kitten in show in a tough class of Himalayan kittens.  When she wasn't in the ring, she was eating both cat food and grapes.
