About Naru Cattery

We got into showing cats quite by accident or good fortune.  We bought our Dollar (EC Joy and Pride Double Forgeron) as a pet quality kitten and in the process established a friendship with Ab and Joke of Double Forgeron Cattery.

But Dollar didn't know he was pet quality and he grew into a lovely, show quality Himalayan.  We visited a cat show and were talking to Ab and Joke about Dollar.  When they saw him, they were very pleased with his development and suggested we show him.  They have been so helpful and encouraging--wonderful friends.

We enjoyed the shows and decided we would get another Himalayan show cat and we acquired Lucky (CH, GIC Le Club Fur DeLook) from Le Club Fur in Springfield, MO.  Our Lucky has a tremendous appetite, downing beef steak in record speed.  That girl can eat!!!  

After attending cat shows with Dollar and DeLook and enjoying the activity very much, we registered our cattery - Naru - with Felikat in April 2001. 

Our Cartoon (Pictured Above) is enjoying the Himmies  and since he's a big boy, he has appointed himself their body guard.  Please see his charges Cats next.
